Agent guardrails

A limit your AI agent cannot talk its way past. Nothing moves until you approve.

A limit written in a prompt is a suggestion. In Lotvs, an agent has no money to spend: it can only ask. Every payment or conversion it prepares waits in Lotvs until you approve it and sign it from your own account. Nothing the agent reads can change that.

The rules

How you stay in charge

  • Every request waits

A payment or a conversion your agent asks for waits for your answer in Lotvs.

  • See it before you approve

Each request shows who would be paid or what would be converted, the amount and the agent's reason.

  • You sign it

An approved request is signed from your own account. The agent never signs.

  • Decline it

Decline a request and nothing moves. The agent can see that you said no.

  • Requests expire

A request you leave unanswered expires, and nothing moves.

  • Pause and disconnect

Pause an agent at once, or disconnect it for good, from the app.

  • No money of its own

An agent has no balance to spend from, so there is nothing for it to use up.

  • Only you change the rules

An agent cannot approve its own requests or change its access.

In order

What happens when an agent asks to pay

  1. 1

    It prepares a request

The agent says who to pay or what to convert, how much and why.

  2. 2

    Lotvs shows it to you

The request waits in Lotvs with everything you need to decide.

  3. 3

    You decide

Approve it and sign it from your own account, or decline it.

  4. 4

    Only then does money move

An approved payment is sent from your account and shows in your activity. A conversion shows its fee, if there is one, before you confirm.

  5. 5

    The agent is told

It can check how the request ended, instead of asking again.

In practice

Questions

Straight answers

Why not just tell the AI its budget in the prompt?

Because the AI can be wrong, and it can be tricked by what it reads. In Lotvs the agent cannot spend at all: every payment waits for you, so no instruction it receives can move your money.

Can the agent approve its own requests?

No. Only you can approve a request, in Lotvs, and it is signed from your own account.

What happens to a request I do not answer?

It expires and nothing moves. The agent can see that it ended.

Can I stop an agent?

Yes. Pause it or disconnect it in the Lotvs app at any time.

Important

Approving is your decision: read who is paid and how much before you say yes. An AI agent connected to Lotvs has no money of its own. It can read your account, tell you what it finds and ask you to pay someone or to make a conversion. Nothing moves until you approve it in Lotvs and sign it from your own account.
